PIMF Solo Performance Program June 19 – June 25
$2,400.00
The Solo Performance Preparation Program (SPPP) is designed for advanced student musicians 13 -19 years of age that are preparing for upcoming auditions or solo performances. The SPPP program includes: five private lessons weekly with principal players and other members of The Philadelphia Orchestra; daily 30-minute workout sessions with assigned faculty accompanists (each of the 24 students accepted are assigned a faculty pianist that remains with them throughout the duration of the festival); daily hour-long solo performance classes; ample opportunity for solo performance and competition; and three hours of required daily private practice. Combined with PIMF’s numerous other program offerings (including masterclasses and faculty recitals featuring members of The Philadelphia Orchestra), the SPPP schedule is the most intense of all our virtual summer program schedules.
